Surveillance & Cable TV

What is Cable TV / Surveillance Cabling?

(Mostly coaxial but also composite, component, RGB, DVI, HDMI)

Let us handle your coax cabling needs. Most coaxial cable can be used with computer networks and radio lines, to connect satellite dishes and antennas to televisions, and to connect multiple video devices together. It is also used in telephone communications and security system applications. One of its most common uses is with residential cable TV and cable Internet services.

Coaxial cable is flexible. The cable is designed in such a way that it can bend easily. This means it can travel along paths that take it around corners and up and down walls or wire tubes. Another benefit is its durability. The outer layer protects the wiring inside from weather and the elements. Heavy duty coaxial such as RG8 cable can withstand long-term use in outdoor applications.

Direct burial cabling

Direct burial cable is a special type cable that is designed to be run in a trench underground without the use of conduit to surround it. The electrical wires are encased in a thermoplastic sheath that seals out moisture and protects the wires within. Direct burial cable, often called exterior-rated cable or UF cable (short for underground feeder), comes in a gray jacket and is approved, when installed at the proper depth, location, and properly sized, for burial in a trench. We handle the digging, placement of the cable, and restoring the land to previous condition for you and will terminate the cables appropriately.
